If you don’t ask, the answer is always no #

There is no harm in asking, its an opportunity lost when you don’t ask. What’s the worst case senario? It’s going to be a no? That’ll be the answer even when you don’t ask. Remember to ask what was the basis for the rating or percentage increment. Ask what is that you need to do to get to a higher state. Ask what is that you did not do which got you to that result. Everybody wants positive feedback, but what’s important is asking for critical feedback during discussions. “Where can I be better?” “Discomfort is necessary for growth”
